Momtrends Holiday Event
Momtrends outdid themselves at their holiday event, held at the Stella & Dot showroom in Soho! Not only did I have a great night out schmoozing with some of my favorite mommy bloggers, but I was also introduced to several new-to-me brands which gave us all great holiday ideas.
We had a fashion show, where some of New York’s most followed mama blogger and vloggers modeled holiday looks put together with products from Land’s End and Stella & Dot. MomCave’s good buddy Nicole of Mommy Tips by Cole showed a beautiful pair of tuxedo pants.
The Slummy Mummy (aka Slacker Mom) in me was most impressed by Walker’s Shortbread. They set up a great display to show us how we could start with their pre-made goodies and decorate with items commonly found at the supermarket. It’s cookie decorating without all the cookie baking! Win!
I walked up to a table with stacks of Duck Tape and beautiful Christmas decorations. I was gabbing with MomCave’s friend Destiny Paquette of Suburban Wife, City Life for a good five minutes before I realized that the decorations were all MADE OF DUCK TAPE! Watch for a future video about easy Duck Tape Christmas Crafts.
Teleflora had a beautiful table set up of all of their holiday arrangements and products. Each arrangement comes in a reusable holiday container so your gift isn’t over when the plant wilts!
Maybe you remember our friends Vermont Nut Free Chocolates who sponsored our MomCave bash at the Independent TV & Film Festival in Vermont. They came all the way to New York City to feed our chocolate craving!
Stella and Dot showed off a ton of gorgeous jewelry. Check out some of my favorites:
Each blogger went home with this amazing haul to share with their readers:
After a nice talk with The Mama Maven, Nancy Johnson Horn about online video, I had to dash off to the International Academy of Web Television’s monthly Writer’s Group meeting to workshop upcoming episodes of Double Leche and Slummy Mummy! It was an amazing night, Momtrends!
