MomTrends Holiday Bash in NYC

Momtrends threw a great mama-blogger bash in New York City last week. While I’m just beginning to think turkey, moms and bloggers alike need to stay a step ahead of the holidays. So Nicole and Sherri introduced a bunch of us to the hottest stuff for the holiday season.

Epson introduced their Expression ET-2550 EcoTank wireless printer, which is the first printer NOT to use ink cartridges. It comes pre-loaded with enough ink to last the average family two years! We tried out the printer, printing out some silly photos and customized gift wrap and the quality was excellent.

Notice the festive cocktail? The people from POM were on hand, showing us how to create some amazingly clever holiday drinks and snacks.

I was so happy to meet some fellow Marylanders! The brothers that founded Tessemaes sampled their dressings and dips. They are dairy-free, gluten free and have no additional sugar. Yet, somehow they are still yummy. I’ve already used their original salad dressing at a brunch I hosted this weekend and got a ton of compliments.

My favorite discovery of the night was MudPuppy, a line of kid’s toys and activities that encourage creative, artistic play. Besides stuff to play with, they also had the cutest luggage tags on display. I scored a Beatles Yellow Submarine one for my Beatles obsessed son and a Madeline one for my little girl.
